After a spell is cast turning a stuck-up prince into a frog, his only hope of being saved is a spoiled princess who is dealing with her own problems. Can they help each other learn the value of friendship or are they doomed to their slimy ways?  Bring the whole family to this fun afternoon of live theatre told entirely in subtle rhyming verse couplets!

We host workshops and staged readings to give our artists opportunities to hone in their skills.

Black and Brown Theatre was founded in the summer of 2016 to address the inequity of casting in the professional Michigan theatre scene and create more opportunities for theatre artists of color. Black and Brown Theatre likes to say "the goal is to fail" and by that we mean, we hope that in the next 5-10 years other theatre companies will employ theatre artists of color so often that we won't be necessary.

We do several performances and showcases through out the year to present to the Michigan theatre scene and general audiences alike.

our story

We have special performances catered to youth that focus on conflict resolution & self esteem and are performed in the schools.
